How does annual billing and the -20% discount work?

Annual billing = -20% per month: on Pro that's $47/mo instead of $59/mo, saving $144 a year - the mechanics and cycle changes.

1 min read

Every paid plan can be billed monthly or annually - annual billing is 20% cheaper per month.

The mechanics

At purchase (or later, in Plan & billing) you choose the cycle: Monthly / Annually -20%.
On the annual cycle you pay 12 months upfront in one amount; the "per month" price shown is the discounted one.
Renewal happens once a year - fewer payments, fewer chances for failed charges.

An example calculation (Pro plan, as of July 2026)

Monthly: $59 × 12 = $708 per year. Annually at -20%: $47/mo, i.e. $564 per year - you save $144. Current amounts always on the pricing page. Amounts are net of VAT (how tax is calculated).

Changing the cycle

Monthly → annual - anytime, in Plan & billing; the unused part of the month is prorated.
Annual → monthly - from the end of the paid year.
