Every checkpoint shows "no access" - what should I do?

The report shows nothing but "no access"? Most often the GA4 token expired mid-scan - the fix is a rescan with reconnection; plus a checklist for when that doesn't help.

You open the report and instead of results you see a void: every check returned no access. It looks alarming, but in practice it's the most mundane problem in the entire app - with an unambiguous solution.

The cause: the GA4 token expired mid-scan

To read your property we use a Google access token valid for about an hour (why - GA4 session). If too much time passed between connecting the account and starting the audit - e.g. you went through the wizard but launched the scan after a longer break - the token expires during the examination. The audit formally completes, but every checkpoint returns no access, because the Google API rejected the reads.

The solution: a rescan with reconnection

1.Click Re-scan (in the report or next to the project) - the app detects the missing session and asks you to reconnect with Google.
2.Pick the same account as before - reconnecting takes a few seconds (the full consent screen usually doesn't reappear, since consent was already granted).
3.The audit runs normally and stores a new, complete report - the empty one can be deleted from the history.

If that doesn't help

Reconnecting and rescanning still ends in no access? Check, in order:

1.Are you connecting the right Google account - the one with access to the examined property (the address is visible in the "Connect" step). The most common mistake: I can't see my Google Analytics account.
2.Does your account still hold a role on the property - an administrator may have removed or changed your permissions: GA4 → Admin → Property access management. The Viewer role is enough for an audit.
3.Does the property still exist - sometimes the examined property was deleted or merged during account housekeeping.
4.Still nothing - write to us (contact@ga4audit.io) with the project name and the approximate scan time; we'll check on our side.

Are my old reports gone?

No. The empty report is one failed entry - all earlier audits in the project history are untouched and available.
