How do I change my email address?

Changing your email depends on the sign-in method: email+password accounts change it with a verification link and a revert option; Google accounts - on Google's side.

How you change it depends on how you sign in to GA4audit - with email and password, or with a Google account.

Email + password accounts

1.User menu → Profile & settings → the "Email address" section.
2.Enter the new address and click Update email.
3.We send a verification link to the new address - the change completes when you click it.
4.For security, the operation may require a fresh sign-in: if you see a re-authentication message, sign out, sign back in and repeat the change.

An extra safeguard: the old address receives a notification with the option to revert the change - if someone unauthorized made it, one click restores the previous email (then reset your password immediately).

Google sign-in accounts

The email address is managed by Google and can't be changed in GA4audit (the profile shows the hint "Managed by Google"). Your identity in the app = your Google account.

Common errors

"This email is already in use" - the new address already has a GA4audit account; use another or contact us about duplicate accounts,
the verification link didn't arrive - check spam; the link expires after 24 hours, resend if needed.
