How do I compare two audits of the same website?

Three levels of comparing audits over time: the automatic delta in History, the trend chart and a checkpoint-by-checkpoint statement via CSV export - plus the acceptance-protocol scenario.

Comparing audits over time is one of a project's strongest features - and there are three levels at which you can do it.

Level 1: the delta next to the score (automatic)

Every audit in History shows the Quality score change versus the previous one - a green or red delta. This "latest vs. previous" comparison requires zero clicking, and new problems from the latest scan land straight at the top of the Action plan.

Level 2: the trend in History

The History view draws the Quality score chart from all audits (the last 12 by default) plus the scan list with checkpoint balances. Here you compare direction: are the fixes working, when did the regression happen, which deployment produced the jump (reading the trend).

Level 3: a detailed comparison of two specific audits

When you need a checkpoint-by-checkpoint statement (e.g. "before deployment" vs. "after" for a client):

1.Open the first audit in History and note/export the checkpoints of interest,
2.open the second and compare the statuses of the same checkpoints,
3.the fastest route to a side-by-side: export both audits to CSV and compare in a spreadsheet - checkpoint identifiers are stable, so the data joins 1:1.

The "acceptance protocol" scenario

Export the PDF of the audit before the implementation and the PDF after the rescan - a dated pair of documents is objective proof of the work's effect (yours or a contractor's). The score delta plus the list of checkpoints that moved from error to pass says it all.
