The account is on the list and selectable, but the property column doesn't show the one you're looking for. Possible causes - starting with the most common:
1. Your permissions were granted to a different property within this account
GA4 access is often granted selectively, to individual properties. If within the company account you only have access to, say, the blog property, and you want to audit the store - the store won't appear on your list. Ask the administrator to grant you at least the Viewer role on the right property (Admin → Property access management).
2. You're looking for a Universal Analytics property
The list only shows GA4 properties. Legacy Universal Analytics properties (identifiers starting with "UA-") aren't audited - Google has shut them down and they no longer collect data. If your website still runs only the UA code, you first need a GA4 implementation: I don't have GA4 on my website yet - how do I add it?
How to tell the difference: a GA4 property ID is a number (e.g. 346778590), and the measurement ID starts with "G-". Universal Analytics used the "UA-XXXXXX-X" format.
3. The property lives in a different account than you assume
In large organizations and agency setups, properties are often scattered across several accounts (e.g. the agency's account vs. the company's account). Browse the other accounts in the left-hand list - the account and property search filters by name, so typing a fragment of the domain often points to the right place immediately.
4. The property was created moments ago
Newly created properties and freshly granted permissions can appear with a delay of a few minutes. Refresh the view or reconnect.
5. You're confusing a property with a data stream
In GA4, a property can contain several data streams (e.g. website and app separately). On the list, you select the property - we verify the streams inside the audit. If you're searching by a stream's name, try the parent property's name instead.
